We are proud to announce the college scholarship winners for 2009. This is the third year that the LCAHRM, a regional chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has provided scholarships for LCAHRM members and their children. LCAHRM offers a $1,000 scholarship to a member pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in an HR-related field and a $500 award for children or grandchildren of LCAHRM members attending college. The LCAHRM is pleased to announce the following winners:
Melissa Shultz, a Human Resources Business Partner at Lancaster General received a $1,000 LCAHRM Member Scholarship. Melissa is pursuing a Masters of Business Administration graduate degree from Lebanon Valley College and plans to complete in 2010.
Jennifer Brusstar, a 2007 Solanco High School graduate attends Waynesburg University and will receive a $500 LCAHRM Student Scholarship. Jennifer is the daughter of LCAHRM member Mary Brusstar and is studying biology/pre-med and expects to graduate in 2011.
